Why I Decided to Build the Activity Track AI Plugin
As someone who’s managed and developed WordPress sites for years, I’ve tried almost every activity tracking plugin out there. But, to be honest, I was never quite satisfied with what was available on the market. Most plugins were either too basic, or they just didn’t provide the features I needed to actually understand what’s happening on my site.
One of my biggest frustrations was not having crucial information right in the dashboard. For example, I wanted to see at a glance what country a visitor was from, whether they were using a VPN or proxy, and get a real sense of where my traffic was coming from. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference when you’re trying to spot unusual activity or real potential leads.
Embracing the AI Era
With the rise of AI, I saw a huge opportunity to take activity tracking to the next level. One of the features I’m most proud of—and honestly, works even better than I expected—is the AI log analysis. There are so many times when I’d look at a log entry and just scratch my head, even with my experience. Some logs just don’t make sense on the surface.
